| Etosha Pan & Game Reserve Map & Guide The Etosha Pan covers some 4731 sq kms. At its widest point it is approximately 110km. The pan is mostly dry except after heavy rains when it floods mainly from the Ekuma and Oshigambo rivers in the north of Namibia. In the east Fischers Pan is fed from the Omuthiya and Omuramba and Owambo rivers. This extension of the main pan can usually hold water for much of the year. Permanent springs are plentiful in the south fed by water reserves in the porous bedrock whcih permeate out onto the impermeable clay floor of the pan. Includes registered post & packaging. |
